Mapleside Montessori School follows a 10-month school year, from September to June, with two weeks holiday in December and March. Families are invited to contact the school to express their interest in the program, introduce their child, and arrange a tour of the school.

After meeting the Montessori guides and seeing the environment, families will be invited to submit a registration form.

A child’s ability to thrive in our environment is not dependent on their reading level or deep knowledge of dinosaurs. Rather, it is essential that each child be considered as an individual. A child is ready for our program when they demonstrate several characteristics of moving into the second stage of development, and when they can collaborate purposefully with their peers for a common goal. Meeting your child is the best way for our Montessori guides to assess whether they will benefit socially, emotionally, and academically from joining the community at Mapleside.
